Isn't it crazy how fast time flies by? It will be 48 years since I went to the Minnesota State Fair for my photography project in 4-H. I was 10 years old when I got Best in Show in Clay County for my Calendar Dogs photo story. That allowed me to enter the Minnesota State Fair. It was easy to get dogs for each month because my family raised show dogs. We had Beagles, Bassets, and later bulldogs. It is crazy how times have changed, too. I rode down on a bus and walked through the midway all by myself. The memories are rather faint. I do remember that we all got to see Alabama playing, and there were fireworks afterwards. This marked the beginning of my love for photography. It is the most wonderful hobby!
