Hatton-Northwood Drama entertained the public on election evening at the Performing Arts Center. This one-act play will be entered into a competition in the coming days and the students have been practicing under the direction of Wendy Gylten and Kat Funseth.
The play Storytime At The End Of The World centers around the wishes of several teenagers, but things are heading for trouble and a possible end to the world. Was there love, or was it lava? The scenes featured zombies and a mind reader, along with wonderful set pieces. I loved the 80s tunes that played as the wishes unfolded.
The true message was about relationships, grief, and what we are willing to sacrifice for the greater good.
Northwood wishes the performers good luck as they head off to the competition and thank you for an evening of entertainment. The students in the cast were; Hanna Scholand, Bryce Scholand, Crystal Sandstrom, Peyton Bumgardner, Lincoln Boe, Alora Berke, Amy Draxton, Ashlynn Pahner, Natasha Axt, Ivy Sheggerud, Lillian Boe, and Noah Scholand.
