The Community/Commercial Club provided Northwood with several fun things to do while ringing in the Christmas spirit. The weather was beautiful and many events had people on the move. A craft show was held at the Community Center for the local shopper. There were wonderful gift ideas such as baked & canned goods, clothing, decor, and much more. The club served a Scalloped Potato & Ham lunch and sadly had to turn away just a few empty stomachs after selling out. Later in the evening, the club served BBQs & hotdogs, chips, cookies, and hot chocolate. Excited children arrived with parents and grandparents to enjoy a meal and make some Christmas crafts. They were able to sign up for a chance to win door prizes. Santa was invited to come and visit with the company of his elves. Children hopped onto his lap to tell him what was on their list. Santa and his elves gave each child a goodie bag filled with popcorn, hot chocolate packets, and candy canes. It was a very busy day and we greatly appreciated the help tearing down the tables and chairs!
